San Diego Personal Injury Lawyer and Criminal Defense Attorney Jim Gleave was graduated with high honors from the University of California, San Diego in 1971. While working as a County Probation Officer, Jim went on to law school and was graduated from Western State University School of Law (currently known as Thomas Jefferson School of Law) in 1981 and then passed the California State Bar Examination in 1982.

Jim was admitted to the Southern District of California in 1982, the Central District of California in 1984, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 1991, and the United States Supreme Court in 2002.
